As a professional accountant, Deborah has worked in several fields of finance spanning consulting to venture capital to investment banking. She began her career as a research analyst at a Nigerian boutique consulting and financial advisory firm Fritova Partners before being promoted to team leader of the project finance team. Further buttressing her exposure in finance and deal origination, she deepened her experience in transaction advisory and in delivering utmost value to clients. As an analyst, she has evaluated and advised on several deals worth more than N100 billion in local and cross-border transactions in renewable energy, real estate, financial services, manufacturing, consulting, and oil and gas.
In addition, she has led numerous assignments conducting financial due diligence, developing business plans, assisting with capital raises, working on divestitures, reviewing financial models, carrying out feasibility studies, and preparing valuation memorandums. Most recently, she worked as an analyst for United Capital Plc on the development of a feasibility study and project viability analysis for a renewable energy project in South-West Nigeria.
Deborah brings strong economic, market research, business valuation, deal structuring, and financial management to the team and clients in Nigeria’s solar power generation industry. She holds an accounting degree from Obafemi Awolowo University and is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria.
