Teddy is a Seasoned Educator; a Professional Editor; and Experienced Banker. Prior to joining RED Universal, he previously worked as a school administrator at Saint Felix Nursery and Primary School, Ibadan Catholic Archdiocese for over a decade.His goal was to create academically engaging learning experiences through an environment that fosters creativity, and curiosity and as such developed a deep commitment to sharing his passion for literacy and learning.
From 2011 onwards Teddy broadened his love for education by
linking it to editing building an excellent work-history as an editor and
strong critic of written works, conference presentations, training
initiatives, and peer-reviewed publications. Through his forays in editing as evidenced by the
editing-enterprises he has helped to launch, he has held multiple Head Editor positions at Tedcel Editing Concept; Smart Brain (a
Teen Magazine); Magazine and Temple Digest (a Religious Magazine); and GK
Sports Digest (a sport panorama magazine), working with intellectual authors,
publishers, and content developers.
Aside from his expertise in education and publishing, Teddy has also garnered
extensive experience in Nigeria’s banking industry, specifically as an auditor.
He has worked for First City Monument (FCMB) Bank as a Fraud
Investigation and Quality Assurance Officer. In that role, he conducted
investigations on reported cases of fraud, irregularities, and staff
misdemeanors to ascertain root-causes and proffered recommendations for
corrective actions. He was also responsible for Quality Assurance as well as
formulating strategies and measuring related outcomes. To solidify his
experience as an auditor, Teddy attended several trainings on Forensic
Fraud Detection, Banking Inspection & Internal Control, Cyber Security, Digital
Forensics, and Risk Based Auditing.
Academically, he holds a B.Sc. in Computer Science and an M.Sc. in Information Technology from the National Open University of Nigeria. For his professional associations, he is a member and fellow of the Compliance Institute of Nigeria (DCP) and the Chartered Institute of Loan and Risk Management of Nigeria.
