Wole is an economist by training, a financial analyst, and consummate numbers man. Prior to joining RED Universal, he previously worked at Excel Charity Foundation, Emeka Etiaba & Co., Dambo & Co., and Knights Law Firm as an Accounts Administrator in the Finance and Operations department of the four organizations.
He also worked with Ondo State Government in the Ondo State Entrepreneurship Agency (ONDEA) as Partnership Director, where he helped to develop Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) with their financial books and fund generation. He has experience in Septem IV Ltd (facility management firm) and OJ Wale Pillar Metal and Tech Ltd (renewable energy distribution Firm) as their Accountant. His goal was to create ways to develop systems through a working environment that fosters creativity, and curiosity and he is credited with developing the Know Your Customer (KYC) model where background checks on goods and services and individuals are conducted.
From 2012 onwards, Wole broadened his love for Accounts, Administration, and Renewable Energy through active learning from Cousera (Online), Udemy (Online) and Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN), Renewable Energy Training Institute (RETI) as well as the Nigeria Opportunities and Industrialization Council (NOIC). These courses have rendered him a go to person in major decisions taken by various clients when developing their accounting systems, processes, and structures. This includes departmental staffing needs, accounting books for monitoring and approval limit for expenses. He also developed and migrated manual systems into software highly desired by clients.
Wole is inclined to engage with persons of like minds, who are passionate about broadening energy access in Nigeria through Renewable-Energy Off-Grid Solutions, with a deep interest in the design and audit of said clean-energy-models and other power-generation electricity-solutions in Nigeria.
In 2019, based on his expertise, Wole commenced Cenit Integrated Services (CIS) which is a business development firm, providing an array of services and solutions to SME’s. Some of the support solutions he provides includes: helping SME’s to register business-names and companies; protect patent/brand rights; recommend staffing; and the designing of internal as well as external auditing systems for SME regulatory compliance in their respective states of operations.
Academically, Wole holds a B.Sc. in Economics from Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU) and a Masters in Business Administration (MBA) from the National Open University of Nigeria.
Professionally, Wole is a member of Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN), Chartered Institute of Personnel Management (CIPM), and Chartered Global Investment Analyst (CGIA). On the civic front, he enjoys volunteering for health and environmental projects and he is also part of the Enough is Enough (EiE) Nigeria movement.
